Tar River Writing Project

Teachers from the 2008 TRWP Summer Invitational Institute will begin the 2008 - 09 Teacher Research Institute with the opening meeting on Saturday, September 13, 2008. 

Teachers know that the best way to change what's not working in their classrooms and in education more generally is to investigate what we know, what we think we know, and what we still need to know.  Over the course of the 2008 - 2009 school year, these teachers will be working collaboratively on different projects that directly relate to their own classrooms.

Those Teacher Consultants interested in furthering their work as teacher-researchers and members of the TRWP will find this year's work extremely benefitial.  Interested TCs should meet in the Bate Bldg, Room 1001, for the organizational meeting.
